A lobster trap does not pursue what it captures.
It waits.
The entrance is open.
Easy to pass through.
Unremarkable.
A lobster enters for a reason.
Inside, there is room to move.
Others may enter as well.
Water passes through the slats.
Nothing suggests constraint.
What enters does not feel trapped.
Not at first.
Movement persists
until it no longer leads out.
The structure does not prevent exit.
It makes it unlikely.
The structure itself does not change.
Exit does.
From the inside, it appears open
until exit is required.
The test is never whether the lobster can enter.
It is whether the lobster can leave.
Markets are no different.
Liquidity is not proven on entry. It is proven on exit.
